Most girls are all about the PSL this time of year, but I’m more into my suede. Nothing quite says fall like suede…suede booties, suede skirts and, of course, suede jackets. This brand totally has a monopoly on the suede jacket biz and I can’t get enough! They’re so perfect to throw on over anything, really – jeans and a tank, a sweater, a skirt or dress, you name it. It is THE perfect transitional piece and a completely reasonable investment if you ask me. Plus, I love the moto look!
I know that white denim can be a bit taboo beyond LDW, but I really love to embrace it and use it as the seasons change! A suede jacket is one of my favorite ways to make white denim – and any outfit – transitional into the colder months! They’re also great for layering for days when it’s hot during the day and cold at night. I love to wear a sweater tank underneath a suede jacket for those days when temps are so up and down!
This version actually comes with a thick belt that is also super adorable. I took it off because I usually wear my jacket it open and tend to be constantly moving around so I didn’t like the jingle of the belt. However, if I know I’m going be wearing it zipped up, I love to throw the belt back on and fasten it for an ultra moto-ish look.
I wore another suede jacket by the same brand with this this outfit last weekend for my birthday brunch out with the girls! It was another mix of hot and cold so it was totally functional, but also added something fun to dress up this simple, casual look. And the color….to DIE.
Like I said, both practical and stylish! But it’s also worth mentioning how well these are made. I’ve tried on so many suede jackets that feel cheap or have a funny lining inside that cheapens it. I’ve also tried a bunch that were either too long or cropped and way to short, making it difficult to wear with pants/jeans (if it’s too cropped) and dresses (if it’s too long). These jackets are both great lengths, making them extremely versatile. Which color will you get?!
